Hombu (Headquarters)

another ground floor view ground floor training area There are classes in the Hombu most days of the week.
The ground floor of the Hombu is covered in safety mats. This hall has high ceilings and it is the main training area. The high ceilings enable the training of both Kata and applications with long weapons such as the Bo and Naginata. Check out our Kobudo page for details of weapons.

The first floor is mainly used by the senior grades when the ground floor is busy or when extra space is needed when some students are practicing weapon work. It is also used as the warm up area when Gradings are taking place, or, there is a course on with more than one instructor.
