The Bushido Academy was established in 1976 as a small Ju jitsu class in the North Wingfield Community Centre. In that same year an application was made to join the World Ju Jitsu Federation. We have been members of this very talented organisation ever since. As time has passed students have become coaches and we now have a significant number of highly talented and skilled coaches. Coaches grades range from Shodan (first Black Belt) up to 7th Dan. A number of our Coaches are now Technical Officers, Senior Technical Officers and Executive Officers of the WJJF.
